Choosing an instrument is an important undertaking. It's important to choose an instrument that will fit your personality and that you will feel successful on. Being successful at an instrument is determined by many factors including personality, the shape of the lips and mouth, your living situation, your financial situation as well as probably what your friends are playing. Some instruments will be more difficult to start than others, some will be more difficult to get really good at. Some will have lots of people who play it and some will be unique. Essential Elements Interactive is a FREE online resources that pairs with the method book to make practicing more fun and engaging at home. This resource will also help you as the parent to know what and how your child should be practicing. This tool is not required for at home use, but we will likely use it to some degree at school to create a portfolio of student work for you to hear.
